This new 33-story hotel is an expansion of the Hyatt and will contain 800 guestrooms, a 30,000-square-foot ballroom, a 30,000-square-foot exhibit hall, and a rooftop swimming pool, and other related hotel uses.
The urban design approach focuses on creating a plaza, an “urban garden,” between the Hyatt and the Regency Tower Hotel. This plaza will serve as the public’s entry into each hotel. The slender profile of the Regency Tower Hotel, at approximately 460 feet, will contain views to the bay and the Pacific Ocean beyond.
Project Design Consultants provided survey and engineering services, site work, grading, utilities, city street modifications, and design reports for these additions. |
