Senior Vice President/Director of Planning

 

Chris is a certified land planner and as Senior Vice President/Director of Planning he is responsible for the Land Planning, Policy and Entitlements, GIS, and Landscape Architecture Groups. His planning experience spans 35 years and includes master planned communities, general and specific plans, as-needed agency staff, urban plans and permits, and a wide variety of discretionary land use applications and permits. Throughout his career, Chris has predominantly been a private sector land use professional; earlier in his career he worked in the Planning Department at the Cities of San Diego and  Del Mar.

 

Chris stays current and informed on local and national planning trends and topics. He is an active participant within the Urban Land Institute’s San Diego/Tijuana District Council and  the San Diego Section of the American Planning Association. Chris is the past chairperson of the local ULI and APA organizations. Through the APA, he is a registered member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Chris is active in the local LAI and C3 organizations.
